The breakfast was so delicious I did not have to eat anything else most of the day....delicious!!! Jim and I are excited about being a wine club member at Lenz, so when events happen that we would like to attend you will be the first to know, so hopefully you can accommodate us and possibly join us! Since our return, we have talked about the wonderful time we had at your magnificent B&B and look forward to the date when we can return to simply enjoy the beauty of the place and spend more time at those exciting activities such as Wine Camp. We have visited many different areas of the U.S. And had pleasant surroundings, but never quite as pleasurable as staying at Harvest Inn. The décor of each room offers an invitation to just totally relax and experience the pure beauty of serenity. Your artistic ability to portray the 'welcome' to everyone there is displayed with every detail, Darolyn. Chris, there is no Chef who can measure up to your expertise in preparation and presentation of the delicious meals we were served. We told you both about this when we were there, but wanted to just 'say it again' to let you both know that we have not forgotten this marvelous trip. While it would be hard to have a bad time when wine, sun and relaxation are involved, staying at the Harvest Inn made the weekend truly remarkable. The breakfasts were incredible, and I really appreciated Christopher taking the time to offer the Saturday evening tasting of The Old Field wines, sharing both the wine and his knowledge of the local vineyards. "Today it is back to reality, but the memories of the Harvest Inn and all the details of our wonderful weekend are ours for a lifetime. The words thank you just almost don't seem like enough to express how much really enjoyed the weekend and all of the effort that you both put into making the experience so incredible. We just can't stop talking about it. The snack on the porch was just what we needed to start the weekend off on the right foot, and the picnic lunch was delicious and enhanced our enjoyment while visiting the wineries. In the evening coming back and enjoying your ever so quaint Inn and talking well into the night made the two day weekend seem like a week long vacation. In addition, what can one say about starting the day with breakfasts, well that were beyond good-they were absolutely fantastic and put the perfect spin on the day. The Harvest Inn is a special place and has now become a very dear part of our east end experiences. We feel so fortunate to have found such a wonderful spot with such fabulous hosts.
