Special notes from recent wine camp attendees...
"We attended the October Wine Camp and stayed at the Harvest Inn, which if you are fortunate enough to book early and enjoy, is simply part of the experience. The owners started wine camp, and they are unbelievable with their attention to detail and love of the area. Although we can not agree on one favorite event, the finale at Castello di Borghese was shall we say, terrific, wonderful and beautiful! Marco and Ann Marie Borghese could be the best hosts that we have ever met. Our final dinner was a fantastic experience, a beautiful way to end wine camp. Steve, their chef is very talented...the CdB wines are extraordinary and we hug ourselves that we were fortunate enough to be part of it. It was 'the' best, don't ever change the final event. Hopefully everyone will be able to experience the Harvest Inn as well."

"This is a behind the scenes opportunity that we have never experienced before with any wine event that we participated in...this isn't just tasting wine, you become part of the process. Our recommendation is to stay at the Harvest Inn because it is beautiful, gorgeous actually...the owners will spoil you and the Inn is within walking distance to so many of the vineyards--then kick back--smell the fresh air and learn!"
R&G. New Jersey. Wine Camp Summer '07
"Rob and I had an exceptional and unforgettable wine country experience...the vineyard experiences were top notch and so intimate. I chose this trip for my husband because he was the one who held the fantasy of owning and running a vineyard...our breakfast, lunches and dinners were delicious, abundant and creative. We loved our dinner at Scrimshaw, a night on our own, and then our private catered event at Borghese. I would say that this Wine Country experience is a must for all wine enthusiasts, people who love fine dining and wine pairing, people looking for an adventure in learning and so many others. Please feel free to use us as a reference for people who haven't yet had the pleasure." Dr and Mrs Amy J. Pennsylvania.
"Greg, the winemaker at Peconic Bay was simply wonderful, we learned so much--his wines are incredible" J and C from April '07 Wine Camp
"Go to wine country, meet Eric Fry at Lenz and enjoy with bread and cheese--you are incredible Eric, thank you!" The cousins...from April '07 wine camp!
"...what an experience. We are bringing two other couples to a wine camp next year, this was simply the best time, so well managed, and the food...the wine...the best!" Peter and Aletra T.

If you know nothing (about wine), come and learn. If you know everything, or think you do, come and learn more. Gail L., New Jersey
We lived in California for ten years and spent a lot of time in Sonoma Valley. We doubted this could be much different from the programs we attended there. How wrong we were!
